How much does it cost, and what is included?
Each wedding varies in costs. Wedding rental fees for the Event Center and Wedding Terrace begin at $1,000.00 and go up to $2,900.00. Costs vary based on date and number of people attending. Rental fees cover a wedding coordinator, use of outdoor Terrace and Event Center, chairs, tables, basic linens, dinnerware, and staff for set, serving and clean up. For smaller weddings and elopements, we have special pricing available. In addition to the wedding rental fees, we provide wonderful plated meals receptions, elopement dinners, Sunday brunches and rehearsal dinners. These range in price from $29.00 per person to $49.00 per person, with special pricing for smaller groups. Finally, we have a full bar in the Event Center. The bar can be opened and staffed for $199.00 per event. Then, the bar service option can range from an Open Bar (host pays tab) to a Cash Bar (guest pays tab). No outside food, drink or alcohol is permitted in the Event Center or Wedding Terrace. To reserve the Event Center and Wedding Terrace, a $750.00 non-refundable deposit is required.
Those seeking to have only a ceremony can receive custom pricing based on number of expected guests. Ceremony-only events can take place any day, Sunday through Thursday.
When do you have weddings?
We host weddings on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. We can accommodate smaller groups for elopements or special dinners at other times of the week. September and October are the most popular months for weddings at the Castle. We begin scheduling weddings nearly two years in advance.
What about a photographer, musicians or decorating?
Each wedding couple is responsible to secure the services of any vendor you need for your ceremony and reception. This includes clergy, DJ, musicians, wedding cake, and florist. While our wedding coordinator can provide some decorating services and centerpieces, you can make arrangements to include your own decorations. Please ask our wedding coordinator if you need recommendations for any type of vendor.
Can our guests stay at the Castle?
Yes. The Castle has 17 suites. Each suite has a queen or king bed. Some suites have sofa sleepers. This means that most suites can accommodate up to 3 or 4 people. Our Castle suites are in high demand on the weekend. Once you have your wedding date selected and paid the non-refundable deposit for the Event Center and Wedding Terrace, make your reservations for a Castle suite. Contact the Castle Front Desk at 419-994-3427, email@example.com, to assist you in selecting the suites you wish to reserve. Payment for the first night stay is required upon reservation. We have a special discount for the bridal couple's wedding night, along with a one-year anniversary gift.
Can we come see the Castle, Event Center and Wedding Terrace?
Absolutely! Our wedding coordinator is available for appointments. She is very busy on the weekends. If you are able to visit during the week, her schedule is open to accommodate a visit and conversation about your special day. She does have some weekend appointments available.
