If you’re after a holiday party venue in Ohio that isn’t another hotel ballroom, we might be worth a look. We’re Landoll’s Mohican Castle, a castle set on thirty forested acres in Loudonville, roughly halfway between Cleveland and Columbus. We’ve been here since 2002. Holiday Parties at Landoll’s Mohican Castle

Which Room Suits Your Party
Depends how many of you there are. The Marta Louise Ballroom is our largest and seats 215, with twenty two windows facing the forest, gold Chiavari chairs, uplighting, gold chandeliers and a bar in the room. We keep floor space clear for dancing rather than fitting a permanent dance floor, so you can lay the room out how you want it. Smaller group? The Mary Frances Banquet Hall takes 50 indoors with 20 more outside. The Mary Louetta Pavilion is covered, heated and seats 200, and it has clear siding that comes down when the weather turns.
What You Get With the Room
More than people expect, usually. Setup and teardown are ours to worry about, not yours. Tables, chairs and standard linens are in there, along with basic decor and coordination support from the events team at Landoll’s Mohican Castle. What it costs comes down to how many are coming, how long you want the space, which room you take, what you’re serving and how involved the setup gets, so we’ll work that out with you once we know the shape of the night. Sunday through Thursday the room is yours 9 AM to 9 PM, and we can push it later for an added cost.
The Food and the Bar
Our own kitchen does the catering. We’ll build the menu with you rather than hand over a set sheet, and we run private custom buffets or plated service, whichever fits your group better. For drinks, there’s full bar service, beer and wine packages, or premium liquor, plus coffee, espresso and tea if it’s a quieter sort of evening. Hors d’oeuvres displays and late night snacks are also available as add ons.
Something to Do Besides Eat
Worth thinking about, because a long dinner can go quiet by nine. We can bring in live music, a comedy set or a murder mystery night, and come December there’s a gingerbread making competition that turns out more competitive than you’d guess. If your lot want something different again, we’ll arrange a private guided walk around Heyd Cemetery and the old log cabin, or our Haunted History Tour. There are 33 accommodations on site as well, from castle suites through to the 2-Bedroom and 3-Bedroom French Country Villas, so nobody has to leave at the end of it.
Conclusion
Pick your date and let us know early. We sit an easy run from Cleveland or Columbus, so a corporate holiday party venue near Columbus doesn’t have to mean a downtown ballroom.
